RENTAL CONDITIONS BIKE RENTAL HARRY'S TWEEWIELERS


COLLECTION OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT 1.1 The renter is deemed to have received the rented equipment in good condition. The lessor is deemed to have delivered the rented equipment in good condition. 1.2 Payment is made upon collection of the rented equipment. When making a reservation, payment is required in advance. 1.3 Identification is mandatory when receiving the rented items. 1.4 Returning the rented equipment early does not entitle the renter to a refund.


USE OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT 2.1 The rented equipment must always be locked with all supplied locks. 2.2 The rented equipment may not transport more persons than the number of seats provided. 2.3 The rented equipment may not be taken onto the beach, with the exception of beach carts. 2.4 The bicycle must be used normally and carefully. 2.5 The lessor is entitled at all times to confiscate the rental equipment in the event of suspected misuse.


COSTS, DAMAGE, LOSS AND THEFT 3.1 The renter is fully liable for damage to or loss of the rented materials or parts thereof. The costs will be determined by the lessor according to generally accepted standards. 3.2 The renter is liable for damage to the rented materials during the rental period. Any damage must be reported, and the repair costs must be paid no later than upon return of the materials. 3.3 The lessor cannot be held liable for damage caused by or involving the rented materials. 3.4 In the event of theft, the renter is obliged to contact the lessor immediately. 3.5 In the event of a breakdown en route, the renter must first contact the lessor. 3.6 Upon participation in the Rent A Bike Safe Plan, the costs previously mentioned under point 3 are waived. In this case, the deductible amounts to:

  • €25 for a wagon, trailer, or bicycle.
  • €50 for an electric bike, tandem, or ATB.
  • €100 for an electric cargo bike. The Rent A Bike Safe Plan does not reimburse:
  • Damage to third parties caused by the rented materials.
  • Damage caused by intent and/or reckless behavior. 3.7 In the event of theft of the rented equipment, a police report must be submitted.


CANCELLATION4.1 The following cancellation conditions apply to advance reservations:

  • More than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 50% refund.
  • Within 30 days before the start of the rental period: no refund, rescheduling possible (within the booked year).
  • Less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period: no refund, no possibility to reschedule.

4.2 The following cancellation conditions apply to participation in the Rent A Bike Safe Plan:

  • More than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 90% refund.
  • Between 30 and 9 days before the start of the rental period: 70% refund.
  • Between 8 days and 24 hours before the start of the rental period: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before the start of the rental period: no refund, but free rescheduling (within the booked year).


RETURN OF RENTED MATERIALS 5.1 The rented materials must be returned to the lessor no later than the agreed time.
